Exact replica of a 1962 "Kitchen" Marshall. Not
the ones made for Kitchen music retailers in the UK, but one of the first
ever amps made in Jim Marshall's kitchen!! This is possibly the earliest
Marshall outside the Marshall Museum in England. There are no words.
The Blockhead Offset 62 chassis prototype is an exact
replica of a 1962 Marshall™ owned by Blockhead Amplification. It
is one of the first Marshalls ever created, and is known as one of the
original"Kitchen" Marshall Offset amps. Not to be confused with
amps later made for Kitchens Music (UK) and bored a logo "Kitchen
Marshall," these first amps where made in Jim Marshall's Kitchen.
Our replicas are absolutely just like the original, with it's Radiospares
"De-Luxe" output transformer, heavy duty Radiospares power transformer,
NOS 6L6GC type output tubes, optional Mullard GZ34/5AR4 rectifier and
optional Mullard ECC83 preamp tubes, and tweaked 5F6-A circuit (stock
preamp tubes are JJ/Tesla, stock rectifier valve is made by Sino). There
are even a few small secrets inside (not on any schematic) that help give
this amp it's unique voice. No question, this amp is the ultimate.
